What is the difference between prefinished and unfinished wood floors?
Prefinished floors have the stain and finish coatings applied while they are still in the factory. Unfinished floors are installed in your home or building first and then the finish is applied. It is easier to match existing wood with an unfinished installation than with a prefinished product.
Why are there dents in my floor?
Although the wood installed is, indeed, a hard wood, it can still be dented by heavy objects such as heavy furniture and pianos. To help prevent dings and dents, we recommend that you use floor protectors under your furniture and rugs in high-traffic areas.
